My first training run will be tomorrow morning at 7:30AM sharp. I have to be there at 7:15 to check in and get my runners shirt and all that. I am hoping it goes well- I've been running all this week but only at half of what the suggested runs were.
I'll be trying my best tomorrow! so wish me luck.
Tomorrow signals the very beginning of my journey. It's going to be great and exciting, and I hope you can support me!
I'll post a summary of how it went by Sunday. Until then, I'll be running!

KRIS RUNS FOR A CURE!
Hi! My name's Kris, and I'm a 21 year old student living in california. I recently decided to run a marathon and thought what better way to do it than while raising money for a cure! I run for cancer- for a cure- and for all those in my life and out of my life who have been affected by cancer.
This blog will follow my trials and travails training to run this marathon with Team in Training. I will also be doing a lot of fundraising throughout the Orange County, CA area, and if you live here, and see a random person holding a big sign that says "FIGHT CANCER" that may just be me.
If you've stumbled upon this website randomly or saw my car decorations and followed the link, I thank you for taking the time to do so. Together we can fight cancer. 76% of my fundraising goes directly towards a cure for cancer, the rest of the 24% helps me complete my goal of running 26.2 miles in the San Francisco Marathon.
My goal for event is to raise 3500 dollars by the end of August. I invite you to help me reach that goal!
Please follow along in this blog for the next few months. It's going to be a great experience, and I want to share it with everyone I can!
